Well, let me have you guys, turn in your Bibles this morning to 1 Timothy chapter 3. For our time of study and the word this morning and just for the sake of time, I'll probably say more about this tonight just regarding our time away. I'll just say that it's good to be back with you guys after being away over the last 3 Sundays and I appreciate our two Carloses and their preaching ministry over the last 3. 3 weeks and, just being here today reminds me of what I love so much about this church and about you guys and the privilege that is mine to be one of the pastors here.
but as we open up God's word today, we come to 1 Timothy chapter 3 verse 16, last Sunday. Well, that begs the question, what is the truth that we are to be all about that we put on display in the church? And that truth is revealed for us in verse 16. Paul says, By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness. He, Christ, who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up into glory....
