Well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles today to 1 Corinthians chapter 13, 1 Corinthians chapter 13 for our time of study in the word this morning. this is actually going to be the last sermon in our forgiveness series. We preached 10 sermons on the subject of forgiveness up to this point. and getting to the place of forgiveness and then what forgiveness is, how it gets carried out, and then we've started to move beyond forgiveness and ponder some things that are on the other side of forgiveness, that we hope will be a practical help to you, and today, we'll be, Us dealing with one final issue related to the subject of forgiveness.

With with trust, George MacDonald has said to be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved. Part of what I think he's getting at is that trust really is a very powerful gift that we can give to people, especially on the other side of forgiveness, but it needs to be dispensed and with carefulness and with wisdom. And a lot of times it's hard to figure out what that balance is....
