Let me, let me introduce what we're doing, this month. our, our theme for the month of December, with the exception of our Christmas service, which will be December 23rd, is Together for the Gospel, and we're gonna be focusing on the theme of togetherness, throughout the entirety of, of this, month. I don't know if you've noticed, there's, there's been in recent years within evangelical Christianity. a resurgence of the word together.
There's Together for the Gospel. I think it's a conference that happens every other year, and I was able to go to one of those conferences in Kentucky, I think in 2006. And so they started a movement called Together for Adoption. They recently had a, a conference. David Platt recently wrote a book entitled Radical Together. On togetherness is really simply a return to an old idea. In fact, one of the earliest characteristics of the ancient church in its most primitive form, is the characteristic of togetherness. In fact, very quickly, because we got a lot of ground to cover this morning. Look at this in Acts chapter 1, just reading the first two chapters of the book of Acts....
