And if you want to give a title to the message today, it would be the first gospel marriage. The first gospel marriage. After spending the, the first two weeks of this marriage series reviewing Some basic truths about marriage. We've spent the last two Sundays trying to understand what is wrong with our marriages and the intervention that our marriages need.
In order to make us and our marriages whole. And to accomplish this goal, part of what we're doing is we're going all the way back to the very first marriage in human history and we're doing a case study of Adam and Eve's marriage. After all, when your marriage is less than it should be, it's always easier to pick apart someone else's marriage, right? like, can you believe they did that?
Well, that's what we're doing, with Adam. And Eve, But actually, as we're doing that, it's turning out that studying Adam and Eve's marriage shows us a lot about ourselves and what our basic problem is in our marriages and the intervention that we need from God and the difference that that intervention can make in our life and in our marriage.
