Well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles this morning to 1 Peter chapter 3 and verse 7. Today represents the final installment of our 10-part, marriage series. And I want to end this series by speaking to the husbands, this morning, and it's only fair, men, I've preached one sermon to the husbands and two to the wives. so we wanna, conclude our series today by Just delivering another message to our men and my goal will be to, to encourage you and give you perspective as a husband this morning.
If you want to give a title to the message, it would be The Husband with prayers unhindered. The Husband with prayers unhindered. How many of you men want your prayer life to be unhindered? Raise your hand.
All right. That's what we want. This passage will help you. to that end Several years ago, Several years ago, I met with a husband in my office who was dealing with the dying throes of his marriage to his wife.
Years earlier, he and his wife had agreed together upon a particular deception, which caused both of them over time to lose respect for each other. Their deception also began to alienate both of them from God. And began to infect their marriage with a rot. That began to manifest itself in bitterness, and fighting, pornography, and adultery, and the eventual destruction of their marriage....
